Subsequently, this remark has led to Shane McMahon trending on X, with fans speculating that it could be related to a nWo-esque storyline, especially after Moxley seemingly aligned with fellow former WWE talent Marina Shafir later in the show.

When news first broke that Shane was interested in working with AEW, many assumed it was fake, with it seeming impossible that Vince McMahon’s only son would ever work for a rival company.
