With Nikki Cross having not wrestled a singles match since October 2023, some fans wondered whether she had a long-term future with WWE, with it known they regularly release talents. However, having returned to television in June portraying the sinister Abby The Witch character in the Wyatt Sicks stable, it became clear that her spot was safe. And now, confirming she is staying with WWE, Fightful Select has reported that she has signed a new multi-year contract.

“Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp has learned that Nikki Cross has signed a new deal with WWE … Fightful Select learned that negotiations were ongoing in the spring, before the faction debuted. We’re told that the deal is a multi-year contract in length.”

35-year-old Cross broke into the business in 2008 in her home country of Scotland, initially working under the name Nikki Storm. From there, she began performing worldwide and even competed in 2014’s British Boot Camp 2, featuring future WWE talents Piper Niven, Alba Fyre, and Noam Dar trying to earn a TNA contract. Yet, while she wouldn’t secure a job at that time, the following year, she successfully tried out for WWE and was soon part of NXT, proving that you should never give up on your dreams.
