Cause Of Death For Slash’s Stepdaughter Revealed

Last month, it was sadly reported that the stepdaughter of legendary Guns ’N’ Roses guitarist Slash passed away. Lucy-Bleu Knight was only 25 years old.

“Lucy-Bleu Knight (December 6, 1998), beloved daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight, stepdaughter of Samantha Somers Knight and Slash, sister of Scarlet Knight, stepsister of London and Cash Hudson, passed away peacefully in Los Angeles, CA on July 19, 2024,” read a statement via Slash’s social media.

“Lucy-Bleu was an incredibly talented artist, a passionate dreamer, and a charming, lovable, sweet soul. The family asks for privacy at this time and requests that social media speculation be kept to a minimum as they grieve and process this devastating loss.”

Authorities have now revealed that the cause of the death for the young tattoo artist was suicide. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner “determined the cause of death for 25-year-old Lucy-Bleu Knight as hydrogen sulphide toxicity.” It continued: “The manner of death is suicide.”

Hydrogen sulphide is a colorless, toxic gas that can be recognized by its pungent rotten egg odor at low concentrations. The Centre for Disease Prevention website explained that “inhalation of high concentrations of hydrogen sulphide can produce extremely rapid unconsciousness and death.”
