Victoria Fights Back Tears As She Makes Announcement

Former two-time WWE Women’s Champion Victoria, who also worked for TNA as Tara has shared the exciting news on her X account that she has signed a WWE Legends contact. Fighting back tears in the short video, the 53-year-old who worked for WWE for just under a decade revealed she’d signed what is now called a “ Nostalgic Contract ” and referred to herself as “ WWE family. ”

“Guess what? I’m going to cry. Hold on. I got offered a Legends contract, which is called Nostalgic Contract now, and I’m so ecstatic. I’ll be in the videos. I’ll have the action figures for you guys. I’m WWE family, I love you. Thank you so much for just the love and support and everything like that. I am so freaking ecstatic. You guys have no idea. I’m trying not to cry., so my makeup doesn’t smear.”

For those who may not be familiar with WWE Legends Contracts, also known as Nostalgia Contacts, these grant the company rights to a wrestler’s likeness for merchandise and video games. They also typically include a set fee for potential television appearances. While these agreements sometimes include exclusivity to WWE, in some cases, talents can have exceptions made, which explains why Jake “The Snake” Roberts can work for AEW while still having action figures produced by WWE’s toy manufacturer Mattel.
