Attitude Era Wrestler Takes Shot At Two Current WWE Stars

Former WWE wrestler Val Venis is very outspoken on social media, seemingly not caring what anyone thinks of him. Yet, while this can be a somewhat admirable quality, it does see him regularly involved in controversy. And now, following Sami Zayn’s confrontation with Gunther during this week’s Raw, Venis has annoyed many users of X by claiming that during his prime years, both of them would “ have been fighting over who would carry my bags.”

53-year-old Venis, real name Sean Morley, had a decade-plus run with WWE, which saw him twice hold the Intercontinental Championship. However, he was only considered a top star between 1998 and 2000, as once he changed his gimmick from an adult actor to become part of Right to Censor, his career went downhill. Therefore, while he remains fondly remembered by those who watched during the Attitude Era, nowadays, many modern-day fans know him best for his social media outbursts and conspiracy theories.
