TNA Wrestler Has Been Granted Her Release

In unexpected news, it has been reported by Fightful Select that TNA has granted Gisele Shaw her release. Why the Filippino wrestler wanted out of the company remains unconfirmed, although it was noted she was asked to work this past weekend’s television tapings and put someone over on the way out.

“We’ve learned that Shaw recently requested her release from the company, and it was granted on the condition that she work the Louisville tapings and put over someone on the way out.”

35-year-old Shaw, who announced she was transgender in 2022, broke into the business seven years earlier, having been trained by Lance Storm. From there, she would compete all over the world and share a ring with notable names like WWE’s Mia Yim and AEW’s Jamie Hayter. Still, it was in TNA, previously known as Impact Wrestling, where she achieved most of her fame, and thus, her decision to depart was unforeseen.
