Talk Is Jericho: Scott D’Amore Impacts Maple Leaf Pro

Scott D’Amore’s newly-launched Maple Leaf Pro launches its first live PPV event, Forged In Excellence, on October 19th and 20th at St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, and the card is stacked – Josh Alexander, Speedball Mike Bailey, ROH Women’s World Champion Athena, Takeshita, Raj Dhesi (formerly known as WWE’s Jinder Mahal), and so many more! Scott shares the story behind MLP, its significance to Canadian wrestling history, and what it took to get it up and running. He also details his recent run at Impact/TNA from his pitch in 2017 alongside Don Callis to lead the then-troubled company, what it took to rebuild it and generate some “micro buzz,” as Scott describes it, and why his departure didn’t really surprise him. He also talks about TNA’s collaboration with AEW and how he helped spark the new partnership between TNA and WWE.
