All Out featured multiple incredible matches, but unsurprisingly, the Lights Out Steel Cage main event between Adam Page and Swerve Strickland was the one most commented on afterward. Yet, while it was certainly memorable, some fans online felt the level of violence, which included cinderblock bumps, a needle in the mouth, and a ferocious chair shot, was too much.

And now, having seemingly confirmed that he has seen this feedback, Strickland has taken to X to remind fans that it was promoted as an unsanctioned match and, therefore, they should have expected the brutality.

“(UN-SANC-TIONED) What did you expect? Go where others won’t go.”

Strickland and Page first wrestled each other on the indies in 2015 as part of an eight-man tag match. However, their first high profile would come eight years later at last October’s WrestleDream pay-per-view, which led to Strickland breaking into Page’s house and taking their feud up a level. Next, they wrestled in a Texas Death match at Full Gear, which was also controversial as Page dripped Strickland’s blood into his mouth. Since then, the rivals have kept their feud going by wrestling on Dynamite and Revolution earlier this year, although it now appears the program has concluded following All Out, as there is nowhere else to go.
