This past weekend’s All Out pay-per-view featured many hardcore spots, leaving some squeamish fans in total shock. Arguably the most controversial and nauseating of these was Adam Page pushing a hypodermic needle into Swerve Strickland’s cheek, which instantly reminded fans of deathmatch wrestling of DJ Hyde doing the same to Thumbtack Jack at Tournament of Death in 2009 . And now, Thumbtack Jack has shared a video on X talking about this, saying, “ Etiquette would tell you to ask permission, ” and calling Page an “ entitled millennial cowboy.

All right, so the Hangman Adam Page stole my syringe spot … So the thing about the syringe spot, it works best if you got a great visual before you do the spot. If you already have the opponent bleeding, there could have been more blood if Swerve Strickland would have bled more. The whole stabbing of the face would have looked even more vicious. Whenever I did that spot, most prominently, of course, at Tournament of Death. I wanted to have the face, a crimson mask, but, yeah, well, etiquette would tell you to ask permission, but the hangman, he’s an entitled millennial cowboy, so it’s fine.”

    Thumbtack Jack

Thumbtack Jack, real name Alexander Bedranowsky, wrestled for nine years between 2001 and 2010, and during that time, worked with future stars like Malakai Black, Gunther, Zack Sabre Jr., and Jon Moxley. However, he was forced into early retirement after breaking his seventh thoracic vertebra and sternum in a match against MASADA. Six years later, he would attempt a comeback wrestling a one-off match, but he appears to have moved on from the business since then, having never gotten the opportunity to prove himself in a major promotion.
