Kenny Omega Photographed Out And About Following Diverticulitis Surgery

Last December, AEW wrestler and EVP Kenny Omega took to social media to let wrestling fans know he had been hospitalized. At the time, not much was known about the situation, although it would soon be confirmed that Omega had been diagnosed with diverticulitis, which is the same illness that sidelined Brock Lesnar during his UFC prime.

Since then, Omega has made a couple of appearances on AEW television while waiting for surgery,  although he hasn’t been able to wrestle. However, after undergoing surgery in May, where he had about 20 inches worth of intestines/colon” removed, the AEW original has now been photographed out in public looking happy and healthy while visiting Universal Studios.

40-year-old Omega was one of AEW’s first signings, and while his time with the company has been memorable, he has sadly been forced to miss a significant amount of time due to injuries and suspension stemming from Brawl Out. Therefore, all that can be hoped for is that once he is medically cleared to return, he can finally get an extended run, allowing him to demonstrate why he was once considered by many to be the best pro wrestler in the world.
