Injured WWE Wrestler Could Be About To Get Her Surname Back

It’s well-known that Vince McMahon was a fan of mononym names, often rebranding wrestlers to just one name like Cesaro, Neville, Rusev, Riddle, and Theory. Some of these would work and sounded good, while others were just awkward. And now, with Triple H in charge of WWE creative, it appears one wrestler is about to get their surname back, as WWE has filed a trademark application for “ Shotzi Blackheart . ”

32-year-old Shotzi, real name Ashley Urbanski, initially tried to get into pro wrestling via Tough Enough but withdrew due to health issues. Yet, not being put off, she continued chasing her dream and signed with WWE in 2019, going on to feature on NXT and then SmackDown. However, at present, she is sidelined with a knee injury that occurred when she landed awkwardly while attempting an apron DDT and subsequently required surgery.
