Confirmation Of Tamina’s WWE Status

Tamina Snuka last wrestled in February 2023, and at one point, a rumor spread online that she had retired. Yet, that was proven false, and with her being The Rock’s cousin, some thought she might have a job with WWE for the foreseeable future. However, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select has now reported that the 46-year-old is no longer considered active by WWE, having been removed from the internal rosters.

“Tamina is no longer active with WWE. She is not at the shows. She is not on internal rosters anymore. She’s not wrestling anymore.”

Starting at the Wild Samoan Training Center in 2009, the daughter of Jimmy Snuka joined WWE’s developmental territory FCW the following year before being fast-tracked onto the main roster to work with The Usos. Still, despite never being pushed as a solo star, her contributions to the company are memorable, as she held the WWE 24/7 Championship nine times and the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside fellow Natalya.
