Shane McMahon Photographed With AEW Tag Team

When news first broke that Shane McMcMahon was interested in working with AEW, many assumed it was fake because it seemed impossible that Vince McMahon’s only son would ever work for a rival company. However, fans accepted it was a genuine possibility after a photograph leaked of him meeting with Tony Khan.

And while it is far from guaranteed that Shane McMahon will be making an AEW appearance anytime soon, Matthew Jackson has now uploaded a photograph to Instagram of both him and his brother alongside the 54-year-old, captioned, “ Interesting flight today ,” which is already causing speculation online.

Since suffering a torn quad immediately at the start of an impromptu match with The Miz at WrestleMania 39, Shane McMahon has been absent from the wrestling spotlight. Before that, he had been away from WWE for 14 months after receiving internal and external criticism for the 2022 men’s Royal Rumble match he was involved in booking. Therefore, given this and the fact that his father has since resigned in disgrace following Janel Grant’s lawsuit, the idea of Shane McMahon making an appearance for AEW doesn’t seem as far-fetched as it once would have.
