Lita Shares Video That Reveals How Hurricane Helene Has Impacted Her Home

The National Hurricane Center began watching Helene on September 17, and on September 25, it was officially declared a hurricane. Since then, at least 95 people have tragically died across six states, and it is sadly believed that number will rise when all is said and done.

And while it doesn’t appear her life was ever at risk, WWE Hall of Famer Lita has shared a video via her Instagram Stories that reveals how Hurricane Helene has personally affected her, having flooded the basement of her home in Decatur, Georgia.

49-year-old Lita, whose real name is Amy Dumas, is a legendary figure in professional wrestling. Rising to fame in the late 1990s and early 2000s, she quickly became one of the most beloved and influential female wrestlers in WWE history, thanks to her fearless attitude and unique style. However, she retired from full-time competition in 2006 while still in her prime, having decided her life would be better away from the wrestling business.
