During this week’s episode of Raw, Braun Strowman defeated Bronson Reed in a Last Monster Standing match that wouldn’t have been out of place at a premium live event. However, during the match, Strowman was noticeably struggling to walk, and now it has unfortunately been reported by Cory Hays on X that the former WWE Universal Champion suffered a torn groin. How long this will sideline him depends on the severity of the tear and, therefore, could be anywhere from four weeks to four months.

“Braun Strowman suffered a torn groin in the Last Monster Standing match against Bronson Reed on #WWERAW.”

Since returning to WWE, 41-year-old Strowman hasn’t had the best of fortune with injuries, as in addition to suffering a concussion, he had to undergo neck surgery, which stole a year of his career. Still, his current injury is far less serious than this, and with WWE providing top-notch medical care, hopefully, Strowman will return better than ever, with the Royal Rumble a likely target date at the latest.
