Due to training at the Nightmare Factory and having such an impressive physique, it appeared Kayla Rossi had a bright future in AEW, especially after winning multiple matches on Dark and being aligned with Joey Janela. However, while it’s understood she was offered a contract, she somewhat surprisingly turned it down and is now seemingly focusing on professional bodybuilding.

Still, despite being away from the ring, she remains popular on social media, and her latest Mileena from Mortal Kombat cosplay photo drop has wowed her Instagram followers, with one calling it a “ flawless victory ” in the replies.

36-year-old Rossi was frequently likened to Chyna when she was working for AEW, although she would play down this comparison herself, noting Chyna was significantly taller than her. And while it appears pro wrestling is no longer her future, she recently wrestled her first match in over a year at NWA 76 in a Mildred Burke Invitation Battle Royal, which Natalia Markova won. Therefore, it will be interesting to see whether this was simply a one-off or the start of a comeback.
