Much-Loved Comedy Wrestler Announces He Has Signed A WWE Legends Contract

Nowadays, nostalgia is a huge part of pro wrestling, and WWE capitalizes on this in many ways, including through merchandise and occasional appearances. Therefore, the company has recently signed multiple former talents to WWE Legends contacts to benefit from their name value, including Diamond Dallas Page, Victoria, Jacqueline, and, most notably, Jesse Ventura. And now it has been confirmed by the wrestler himself during an ACW indie show in Wisconsin that Dylan Postl, best known to wrestling fans as Hornswoggle, has also inked a deal.

38-year-old Postl broke into the business in 2004 and, within two years, was working for WWE as a leprechaun character alongside Fit Finlay. Subsequently, he remained with the company for a decade before being released eight months after being suspended for violating WWE’s Wellness policy. Still, he would stay on good terms with management, returning as a participant in 2018 for the Greatest Royal Rumble and appearing at the 2019 Royal Rumble.
