Rich Swann Enters Nolo Contendere Plea Following His Latest Arrest
Two weeks ago, news broke that Rich Swann had been arrested back in June for disorderly public intoxication and causing a disturbance. According to the police report that had been uncovered, the TNA talent attempted to enter an apartment forcefully and later caused a woman distress by following her. Police would subsequently arrest Swann with, it claimed, he smelt of booze and his speech was slurred, although the story wouldn’t initially get picked up by the media. And now, with Swann currently suspended by TNA, it has been reported by Ringside News that the 33-year-old has pleaded “nolo contendere,” which means he neither admits nor denies the charges. This has resulted in him being fined and put on probation for a period of six months. Swann previously looked set for big things when he signed with WWE in 2015, although after he was arrested for domestic violence against his wife and fellow wrestler Su Yung, he exited the company by mutual agreement. Still, despite his reputation being tarnished, after the charges were dropped due to insufficient evidence, he began getting booked by TNA.
Batista Explains Why He Will Never Come Out Of Retirement
Batista retired from the ring following his defeat to Triple H at WrestleMania 35, having not announced beforehand it would be his final match. Yet, while he is now firmly established as an actor, it’s always been thought that, like so many before him who had retired, he could be tempted back for one more match. However, during a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, the former WWE star has spoken about his decision to step away from the ring on his own terms and confirmed he won’t wrestle again as it would tarnish his “storybook ending.” 55-year-old Batista, whose real name is David Bautista Jr., initially tried to break into the wrestling business in 1999 via the WCW Power Plant but was told by trainer Sgt. Buddy Lee Parker that he didn’t have what it takes. Obviously, he would prove the former enhancement talent wrong by winning six world championships and headlining WrestleMania twice in two different decades. And while he was set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2020, this would be postponed due to worldwide events, with him since being unavailable to commit to a date due to his filming schedule.
Teddy Long Reveals How Victoria Gave Him The Thrill Of His Life
WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long has been involved in the wrestling business since the mid-80s, and since then, has gone from being part of the ring crew to being a referee and a manager to the kayfabe General Manager of SmackDown. Therefore, to say he had plenty of stories to tell would be an understatement, considering his multiple roles. And now, while speaking on Sportskeeda’s The Wrestling Time Machine, he has shared a story where former WWE Diva Victoria gave him and the other passengers he was riding with the “thrill of our lives” by revealing her bare buttocks at them. 53-year-old Victoria certainly isn’t shy about showing off her body, with some of the photos she previously took for WWE being borderline NSFW. Additionally, she opened OnlyFans a few years ago, which, according to reports, saw her sell lingerie and even socks to her subscribers if they paid extra. However, with her having just signed a WWE Legends Contract, also known as Nostalgia Contact, it will be interesting to see whether she keeps her account open.
Kevin Kelly Responds To Jim Ross Calling His Lawsuit Against AEW “Frivolous”
On Wednesday, news broke that Kevin Kelly and The Boys had joined forces to bring a lawsuit against AEW as well as Tony Khan and Ian Riccaboni following their departures from the company earlier this year. Based on the filing, the trio feel they were let go unfairly, had their reputations damaged, and were misclassified as independent contractors. Yet whether the trio has a good chance of winning or even getting a settlement remains unclear, with many on social media questioning their decision to sue. Among those questioning the lawsuit was AEW commentator Jim Ross, who acknowledged the case during the latest episode...
Saraya Offers Her X Followers A Cool Incentive To Pre-Order Her Memoir
Saraya is one of AEW’s biggest stars, although her long-term future with the company is uncertain as it was recently reported that her contract expires shortly, and the option years haven’t yet been activated. Yet despite this, she continues to do her best for the company and put over Toni Storm in the UK just last month. And now, in exciting news for her fans, the former WWE star has announced her memoir “Hell in Boots” will be released next March, with it subsequently disclosed that in exchange for a pre-order, Saraya will follow them back on X. 32-year-old Saraya has been involved in the business for most of her life, having debuted at 13 for her family’s promotion. From there, she established herself in the eyes of UK fans, leading to WWE offering her a developmental contract while still a teenager. Yet, while her WWE career had many ups and downs, fans were shocked when she was allowed to depart the company in 2022. However, it opened the door for her to join AEW and, in the process, allowed her to prove her many doubters wrong by successfully returning to the ring.
AEW Acknowledges Lawsuit Filed By Three Former Talents Against Them
For the most part, AEW allows contracts to expire rather than release talents early, although there have been exceptions that are typically related to disciplinary issues. However, it now appears that AEW’s approach is set to be challenged in court, as @WrestlingNewsAV has reported that Kevin Kelly and The Boys have joined forces to bring a lawsuit against the company as well as Tony Khan and Ian Riccaboni following their departures. Additionally, it’s understood that the disgruntled trio are accusing the promotion of misclassifying their wrestlers as independent contractors instead of employees, which, if proven, could have enormous repercussions for the whole...

Billy Corgan has been plenty busy in recent weeks both on tour with Smashing Pumpkins and with running the recent sold-out NWA 76 event in Philadelphia. Last week he and wife Chloe Mendel also announced they’re expecting their third child together. Scorpions Forced To Cancel Several Tour Dates
German rock legends the Scorpions have remarkably been flying the flag for the genre since 1965. The band has released several classic albums, and despite several lineup changes through the years still remains on the road celebrating their extensive catalog and legacy. The band was set for a handful of shows in their native country later this month, but sadly had to postpone the dates due to an injury to guitarist Matthias Jabs. The guitarist detailed an accident he had via Instagram: “Dear fans and friends, as you might have heard already, i had a bad accident in my rented...
Mark Henry Reveals Surprising Information About His AEW Signing
Wrestling fans were stunned when Mark Henry signed for AEW, as many believed that the powerlifter was a WWE lifer. Therefore, it was assumed that Tony Khan must have made Henry a financial offer that was just too good to turn out. However, while speaking to Donnie DaSilva and Jimmy Korderas on their Huge Pop podcast, the now-former AEW talent has revealed that he took a pay cut because he wanted to gain experience in an executive position. 53-year-old Henry’s time with AEW began with his debut at Double or Nothing three years ago. Initially, it was announced that he would be taking on the role of an analyst for AEW’s then-upcoming new show, Rampage. Still, that position transitioned into a coaching role over time, specifically focusing on the psychological side of pro wrestling. And while many talents have praised Henry for his help, the WWE Hall of Famer and AEW parted ways earlier this year, which was claimed to have been a mutual decision.
Adam Copeland Shares Update On His Recovery From A Broken Leg
While Double or Nothing was a fantastic pay-per-view showcasing everything AEW has come to be known for, the shine was taken off the event after it was confirmed Adam Copeland had suffered a broken tibia. This occurred during his barbed wire cage match with Malakai Black when the WWE Hall of Famer performed an elbow drop from the top of the cage and landed badly. Subsequently, the day after the event, Copeland would announce on social media he required surgery and noted, “I’m 50, and I need to make better choices.” Although with photos now being shared on social media of Copeland in the gym,...
Former WWE Champion Shares Feelings On Being Released
Raj Dheshi, formerly known as Jinder Mahal, surprised wrestling fans back in 2017 when he captured the WWE Championship. Raj was recent guest on Talk Is Jericho, and he talked about his title run, putting on stadium shows in India and his recent viral promo segment with The Rock. Raj was released from WWE earlier this year, and he told Chris Jericho that the company had effectively retired his character years prior. His release, he said, didn’t come as much of a surprise. “I had become very stale,” Raj said. “Creative-wise, I wasn’t doing much, which is OK. I get it....
Maria Kanellis Shares Worrying Information Regarding Her Upcoming Surgery
Maria Kanellis has unfortunately been dealing with multiple health issues in recent years and recently disclosed on social media that after a growth had been discovered, she requires surgery. And now the former WWE Diva has shared an update on X announcing she will be going under the knife on October 24, although worryingly added she is taking medication in an attempt to prevent her suffering a heart attack during the operation. 42-year-old Kanellis broke into the business in 2004 via WWE’s Diva Search, which also featured Christy Hemme and Michelle McCool. Yet, despite only placing fifth, she would still be signed by the company, leading to a six-year run. From there, she joined ROH alongside her future husband, Mike Bennett, which was followed by a spell in TNA and then a return to WWE in 2017. However, her WWE comeback failed to meet expectations, partly due to her having been pregnant twice. Still, after departing the company for a second time, she would reestablish herself in ROH and then TNA, which opened the door for her signing with AEW along with Bennett in October 2022.
Megan Bayne Described As “A Maneater” Following Her Latest Curvaceous Photo Drop
Last year, it was reported that AEW had signed Megan Bayne, who had previously worked for them on their now-defunct YouTube show Dark. However, she would instead spend her time wrestling in Japan, indicating this information was either incorrect or AEW had decided not to use her. Yet despite this, the 26-year-old is clearly living her best life, and following her latest photo drop on Instagram, one excitable fan has described her as “a maneater” in the replies. Bayne, whose real name is Megan Doheny, broke into the business in 2017 via Ohio Valley Wrestling and would go on to win the promotion’s top women’s championship in 2019. From there, she became well-known on the independent scene and, by 2023, had gained enough recognition to begin working for Stardom in Japan. Still, in recent months, she has been mainly wrestling for GCW, which has seen her work several intergender matches with names like Blake Christian, Mance Warner, and Mike Bailey.
The Makers Of Netflix’s “Mr. McMahon” Docuseries Reached Out To An Unexpected Person
Four years after initially being announced, Netflix’s docuseries on the life of WWE’s former head honcho, Vince McMahon, finally has a streaming date, with September 25 having been confirmed. And while many suspect the series will be very pro-WWE and paint McMahon in the best possible light, it does appear it will genuinely be warts and all, as PostWrestling.com has reported that there was an attempt to get an interview from Janel Grant. Janel Grant became known to wrestling fans in January when the WWE employee filed a lawsuit against McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and the entire company. In this, she would allege she had been sexually assaulted and, despite having previously signed an NDA, wanted it voided due to the Speak Out Act and the fact McMahon hadn’t met his payment obligations. Subsequently, McMahon’s legal representatives issued a statement denying the allegations. However, the disgraced billionaire still opted to resign due to the bad publicity, which threatened to harm WWE and their new parent company, TKO.
Jamie Hayter Reveals She Contemplated Quitting Wrestling During Her Injury Hiatus
Jamie Hayter returned to AEW during All In’s Zero Hour pre-show by confronting Saraya after the former WWE star had called herself the “best female wrestler to ever come out of England.” Obviously, this delighted fans who hadn’t seen Hayter since she dropped the AEW Women’s World Championship to Toni Storm over a year ago. And now, having returned to the ring against Harley Cameron during last week’s Dynamite, Hayter has discussed her comeback from injury during an interview with Renee Paquette. In this, she would reveal that she had been sidelined due to having two herniated discs in her back, which led to her being bed-bound for months and questioning whether she wanted to continue wrestling. 29-year-old Hayter, real name Paige Wooding, made her AEW debut in 2019, having established herself in Stardom. Yet, it wasn’t until 2021 that Tony Khan signed her to a full-time contract and partnered her on-screen with Dr. Britt Baker and Rebel. Initially, this would see the British talent act as a lackey for Baker, although she eventually became her peer and even surpassed her in some fans’ eyes.

The Phibes Philes: The Wizard Of AAHHHs – The Horror Of “Return To Oz”
Despite its sunny reputation, 1939’s “The Wizard of Oz” has warped and scarred the minds of several generations. It twisted John Waters, David Lynch, and many other deviants we love dearly. The Wicked Witch of the West was so traumatizing to children that they banned the episode of “Sesame Street” where she appeared. For many, “The Wizard of Oz” was the first movie they saw, meaning it was the first time they saw a movie monster. Even with all that said, the original L. Frank Baum books are even scarier. In “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” alone, you had the...
Update On Odyssey Jones’ WWE Employment Status Following Domestic Violence Allegation
The big story in pro wrestling over the past 24 hours has been regarding Odyssey Jones and why he was quietly removed from WWE’s roster page. And now, shortly after Fightful Select revealed it was because the 30-year-old had been accused of domestic violence, Bryan Alvarez has reported on Wrestling Observer Live that despite there having been no arrest, the former footballer has been fired. Jones, real name Omari Palmer, decided to try pro wrestling after his football career was cut short following an injury. However, while his time with WWE had so far been relatively uneventful, it did look like he was set for big things after recently debuting on Raw, and Triple H went out of his way to call him a “game changer” on social media. Yet, it appears that all the hard work that both Jones and WWE have put into creating a new star has been wasted.
