Big E Updates Fans On His Recovery From A Broken Neck
During the March 11, 2022, episode of SmackDown, Ridge Holland gave Big E an overhead belly-to-belly suplex on the floor, which unfortunately resulted in the former WWE Champion landing on his head. Not long afterward, Big E would sadly confirm that his neck was broken, and since then, he hasn’t been able to compete. However, as time passes, there is always hope he will be able to resume his career, and now, while appearing on Getting Over, he has shared an update, noting his C1 isn’t healing as required, although he has recently undergone stem cell treatment. Following the dreadful injury, some so-called fans bombarded Holland with hate, holding him responsible for potentially ending Big E’s career. However, Big E has repeatedly emphasized that Holland was very remorseful and requested fans not to hold it against him. Yet, some still harass the former Rugby League player on X about this, and after he accidentally injured Elton Prince last year, he even deactivated his account rather than deal with the backlash.
Dustin Rhodes Confirms When His AEW Contract Expires While Responding To Hater
In October 2022, Dustin Rhodes stated on social media that he had some “heavy thinking” to do regarding his in-ring future. Subsequently, he announced that 2023 would be his final year as an active pro wrestler. However, with it now being 2024, Rhodes clearly went back on this, having wrestled for AEW on Dynamite, Collision, and Rampage this year. And now, after a so-called fan on X tweeted that his best days were behind him, the former WWE star has fired back, noting that while his contract expires in September, he is having the best matches of his life and hopes future negotiations go well, indicating he wants to stay with AEW. 55-year-old Rhodes broke into the business in 1988, and thanks to being the son of Dusty Rhodes, the young performer got the opportunity to work for WCW, All Japan, and WWE during his rookie years. Yet despite nepotism undoubtedly being a part of pro wrestling, he would go on to prove he deserved his spot and ultimately cemented his legacy in the business as Goldust, an iconic character that he portrayed in WWE on and off between 1996 and 2018.
Clip Of Darby Allin Brutally Chopping Fan Goes Viral
Darby Allin has been absent from the ring since the Anarchy In The Arena match at Double or Nothing, where, to many fans, he stole the show. And given that prior to the event, he had suffered a broken foot during a match with Jay White and had also been hit by a bus while visiting New York, nobody blamed him for taking an extended break. However, indicating he is set to return to television, ahead of AEW’s 250th episode of Dynamite in Little Rock, Arkansas, the daredevil has been doing local media. This has subsequently seen the AEW original go viral after he laid in some very painful-looking chops on a fan during an appearance on KARK 4 News. 31-year-old Allin is one of AEW’s brightest stars, although many fans question whether he will have career longevity considering his seemingly reckless style, carefree attitude, and willingness to take dangerous bumps in random television matches, let alone on pay-per-view. Yet somehow, he always manages to rebound quickly, apparently believing he is indestructible and making himself a huge fan favorite in the process.
GoFundMe Launched For 2 Cold Scorpio
Last month, news broke that Charles Scaggs had been arrested on June 15 after an argument with a man over his refusal to put out a cigarette in a convenience store resulted in the pro wrestler stabbing the smoker multiple times. And while 58-year-old Scraggs would claim self-defense and has officially pleaded not guilty, as he was working as a security guard at the time, his career is currently on hold. Therefore, Scaggs’ significant other, Shirley Black has launched a GoFundMe to assist the former WWE and WCW performer in his time of need. Despite being older than most active wrestlers, Scaggs, better known to wrestling fans as 2 Cold Scorpio and Flash Funk, has continued to compete semi-regularly, having wrestled over a dozen times this year. Yet, given his arrest, his planned tour of Japan with DDT Pro for later this year has subsequently been postponed, meaning Scaggs likely missed out on a significant payday he was counting on. So, if you can help him reach the $25,000 target, you can do so through this link.
Talk Is Jericho: We Believe In Joe Hendry!
Say his name, and he appears! So we did, and now Joe Hendry makes his TIJ debut! He shares the story (and pitch to Jimmy Jacobs) behind his initial vignettes and gimmick and explains how a short-lived telesales job, a few words from Eric Young, and a lesson in songwriting from Queen solidified his act. He talks about the text exchange with TNA that changed his life, how a couple of very well-placed billboards outside the Hydro in Glasgow may have led to his recent NXT appearance, and why being forced to sit home for two years during the pandemic ultimately saved his wrestling career. Joe has tales about wrestling Kurt Angle, cutting promos with Shawn Michaels, having a hit song on the charts thanks to Matt Cardona, how he’s come to main event the TNA Slammiversary PPV with Moose, and why he is convinced that he will find himself in the ring with John Cena next year. Torrie Wilson’s Random Photo Drop Has Left Fans Swooning
Torrie Wilson is considered one of WWE’s all-time great Divas, and while she hasn’t wrestled regularly since 2007, she still has a large following on social media thanks to fans who grew up infatuated with her. And now proving to the world she still has her enviable figure, the 48-year-old WWE Hall of Famer has dropped a random selection of photos on Instagram, which have gone viral after @WrestlingWCC shared the most attention-grabbing ones on X. Wilson broke into the wrestling business in 1999 after attending a WCW show and being invited backstage. Subsequently, she would be hired as a valet before being fast-tracked into becoming an in-ring performer. Yet despite being regularly featured, she would end up being released in 2000. Still, her wrestling story wouldn’t end there, as WWE hired her to be part of The Alliance during the WCW invasion angle the following year. And while she would have many unforgettable moments over the next seven years, the most memorable was when she feuded with Dawn Marie in an angle involving her real-life father marrying the former ECW talent.
Amanda Huber Comments Following Erick Rowan’s Emotional Interview On Raw
The wrestling world tragically lost Jon Huber, better known to WWE fans as Luke Harper and AEW ones as Mr. Brodie Lee, in 2020 due to idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. However, far worse, his wife was widowed, and his two young sons have to grow up without a father. And now, following the emotional pre-recorded interview on Raw by Erick Rowan of the Wyatt Sick6 regarding the passing of his “family,” Amanda Huber has taken to X to acknowledge his heartfelt words. Rowan first came to fame because he was selected to be part of the swamp-dwelling cult known as the Wyatt Family, which initially consisted of Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, and himself. And while the group eventually disbanded when WWE decided to go in another direction with the characters, to this day, the stable is still fondly remembered by fans who appreciated its uniqueness and unpredictability at a time when WWE was far from its creative peak.
Buff Bagwell Shares Update After Being Re-Hospitalized
Back in 2020, Buff Bagwell was involved in a serious car accident due to being impaired by prescription medications. This would lead him to multiple broken bones, tears, and ruptures, and at one point, it even appeared he was going to have to have his leg amputated. Therefore, when he recently disclosed he was undergoing surgery on his leg, most assumed it was related to this incident. However, while it was initially thought all was well with the recuperating former WCW wrestler, over the weekend, Bagwell would reveal he had been re-hospitalized in a now-deleted tweet. Yet, in some positive news, he has now thankfully confirmed on X that he is back home, seemingly being over the worst. It appears the 2020 accident was a wake-up call for Bagwell, as the following year, he would reach out to Diamond Dallas Page in an attempt to get help battling his demons. This would see Bagwell move in with the WWE Hall of Famer, and while he would suffer from setbacks, it’s now understood the 54-year-old has turned his life around and has been sober for almost two years.
Ric Flair Shares The Unused Idea He Pitched For Sting’s Retirement Match
Sting finished his in-ring career at AEW’s Revolution pay-per-view earlier this year after he and fellow World Tag Team Champion Darby Allin beat the Young Bucks in the show’s main event. Subsequently, many fans would call this one of the greatest send-offs in pro wrestling history, with everyone working to ensure Sting looked the best he could do, especially considering his age. However, it appears if it was up to Ric Flair, who was in Sting’s corner that night, things would have finished differently, as he has told Busted Open that he pitched turning on Sting following the bout and being put in the Scorpion Deathlock to conclude the show. While not officially confirmed, it has been speculated that Flair is no longer All Elite, with the knowledge that the Wooooo Energy sponsorship of AEW, which was paying for the WWE Hall of Famer, has ended. In fact, many fans were stunned when AEW even hired Flair in the first place, considering his controversial past, although with it being common knowledge that Flair was Tony Khan’s all-time favorite wrestler, it appears he wanted the opportunity to work with the legend, even if it was only for a short time.
NXT’s Cora Jade Shows Off Her Striking New Look
This should have been a massive year for Cora Jade, who unfortunately missed a large chunk of 2023 due to a combination of injury and lack of creative. Yet she is currently sidelined again, having suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament during a house show match with Lyra Valkyria in January. Still, despite this, she continues to live her best life and has now taken to Instagram to show off her new look, having colored the previous blonde parts of her hair purple. Jade stepped into the world of pro wrestling in 2018 under the ring name Elayna Black, with the 23-year-old quickly capturing the attention of fans and promoters alike thanks to her good looks, charisma, and in-ring skills. Among those who recognized her potential were Impact Wrestling and AEW, who would book her as an enhancement talent, although it was WWE that secured her services full-time, having been the first company to offer her a contract.
Unexpected Name Advertised For WWE’s Upcoming Tour Of Japan
WWE is truly a worldwide company, and just days after returning from running shows in Mexico, talents are already getting ready for a series of shows in Japan. And while the names you’d expect, like Cody Rhodes, Bianca Belair, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Kairi Sane, have been announced as appearing, somewhat surprisingly, so has veteran Japanese wrestler Meiko Satomura. This is notable as she hasn’t wrestled a match for WWE since March 2023, although she did work a tag match for a Japanese independent promotion last month. 44-year-old Satomura broke into the business in her home country of Japan in 1995, and the following year, briefly began wrestling for WCW when they were looking to establish a women’s division. And while her time competing in the US was limited, thanks to a cult following among wrestling fans, when WWE needed extra talents for the second Mae Young Classic tournament in 2018, she would not only be booked but actually reach the semi-finals. Subsequently, this would see her hired full-time by the company in 2020 to both wrestle and coach on their NXT UK brand, where she worked with current main roster talents such as Alba Fyre, Isla Dawn, Blair Davenport, and Lyra Valkyria.
Abadon Shows Off Painful Looking Back Following No-DQ Hardcore Match
Abadon is currently a regular on Tony Khans’s ROH brand, having been with AEW for several years. Yet, despite being a contracted talent, Abadon will occasionally take advantage of Khan’s policy of allowing his wrestlers to perform on indie shows that don’t clash with their AEW commitments. However, the non-binary star has surprised fans, having wrestled a no-disqualification hardcore match against Heidi Howitzer for Respect Women’s Wrestling in Colorado, which left her back looking extremely sore, with multiple thumbtacks still visible post-match. Abadon broke into the business in 2019, and due to a combination of AEW needing performers for their now-defunct YouTube show Dark and The Zombae’s distinctive look, she would get an opportunity early in her career. Yet, due to a combination of injuries and a lack of creative, they wouldn’t be featured as prominently as many predicted, with there even being a two-year hiatus from television at one point. Still, thanks to the 32-year-old’s gimmick being perfect for Halloween, this would open the door for a return during last year’s spooky season, which has since seen Abadon join the ROH roster.
QT Marshall Shows Off His Impressive Physical Transformation
While he no longer appears on AEW television, QT Marshall has been instrumental in helping establish the product worldwide due to his backstage and coaching work. And now, the former AAA Latin American Champion has wowed fans on social media by showing off his remarkable body transformation and announcing that he impressively came first during a bodybuilding contest this past weekend. 38-year-old Marshall broke into the wrestling business via the Monster Factory in 2004 and worked the independent circuit for several years before having spells with both ROH and WWE. However, his big break wouldn’t truly come until 2019, when he joined AEW as a wrestler and associate producer on the recommendation of Cody Rhodes. And while he would never be pushed as a star, he would get to work a program with former WWE star Paul Wight.
Tenacious D Cancel Tour After Controversial On Stage Comment
Comedy rock duo Tenacious D have had a lengthy and successful musical career after their HBO mini-series became popular in the late ’90s. The band, which features comedic actor Jack Black, would go on to support several larger rock acts including Weezer, Pearl Jam, Tool and Beck, and Foo Fighters’ mainman Dave Grohl played drums on the band’s debut album. The duo even released a major motion picture, “Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny” in 2006. The pair was in the midst of a tour in Australia and New Zealand, when guitarist Kyle Gass publicly joked about the assassination...
ROH Wrestler Was Knocked Out During Collision Match
This past Saturday night’s pre-taped episode of Collision featured a match between Dalton Castle and Roderick Strong, with the winner due to challenge ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe at Death Before Dishonor. And while it wasn’t evident for those watching at home thanks to some clever editing, Dave Meltzer has now reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Strong’s jumping knee legitimately knocked out Castle, with it noted the flamboyant wrestler was down for several minutes. As of writing, there hasn’t been any update on Castle’s condition, although the fact he has been active on social media is a positive sign. 38-year-old Castle broke into the business in 2009 after starting out as an amateur wrestler. His big break would then come in 2015 when he made his television debut for Ring of Honor. From there, he would work his way up the card and achieve his career highlight in 2017 when he won the ROH Championship from Cody Rhodes at Final Battle. Subsequently, despite dealing with a back injury, he held the title for six months, successfully defending it against names like Jay Lethal, Marty Scurll, Damian Priest, and EVIL.
Confirmation Former NXT Wrestler Has Signed With ROH/AEW
Rachael Ellering has been wrestling for Ring of Honor for over a year and recently wrested for AEW on Rampage against Thunder Rosa. However, as she had never gotten the famous All Elite graphic, she was believed to be working as a free agent. Although, according to Fightful Select, that is not the case, and the former NXT wrestler is officially signed, with it noted she has been for quite some time. 31-year-old Ellering is the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Paul Ellering and broke into the business via Lance Storm’s training academy in 2015. Subsequently, she signed with WWE the following year and debuted under the name Rachael Evers against Alexa Bliss. Yet, due to suffering a long-term injury and budget cuts should be let go in 2020. Still, she wouldn’t let this dissuade her from following her pro wrestling dream, and she would re-establish herself in Impact Wrestling and Stardom.
Bron Breakker Goes Public With His New Relationship Following Cora Jade Breakup
It was previously known that Bron Breakker was in a relationship with fellow WWE talent Cora Jade. However, at some point, the pair would separate, and it has been known since March that Jade has been dating former college football player Vincent Winey. Yet, while Breakker has never publicly commented on the breakup, he has now disclosed via an Instagram Story that he is seeing NXT’s Izzi Dame. 25-year-old Dame is a former volleyball player who signed with WWE in 2022, making her debut the following year. And while she has mainly been working on house shows and Level Up tapings to gain experience, she recently wrestled Jordynne Grace on Impact as part of WWE’s working relationship with TNA.
Stephanie Vaquer Confirms Which Brand She’ll Be On Following Her WWE Debut
Having been relatively unknown in the US, Stephanie Vaquer has become one of the most talked about wrestlers online in recent weeks following her performance at AEW’s Forbidden Door and subsequent WWE signing. And now, having made her debut for the company against Isla Dawn at their live event in Mexico City on Saturday, Vaquer has confirmed her brand by saying, “NXT, see you soon” in a post-match promo. 31-year-old Vaquer broke into the business back in 2009 in her home country of Chile, competing under the ring name Dark Angel. From there, she began working in Mexico, where she also had citizenship, and after proving herself in the land of lucha libre, she began to get booked in Japan, which took her career to the next level.

“The Thicket” is coming to theaters on Sept. 6. Confirmation Of When Natalya Re-Signed With WWE
Whether it’s a negotiating tactic or just a new policy regarding re-signing talents, WWE has recently been letting deals run very close to expiry. This has, therefore, resulted in much speculation about the futures of several talents, with 42-year-old Natalya among them. Yet it was recently confirmed via PWInsider.com that the third-generation talent will be staying with the company, having inked a new deal. And now Fightful Select has followed up on this, reporting that the deal was actually completed in late June, and her husband TJ Wilson, was a factor in negotiations with other promotions interested in hiring him. Natalya, the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Jim Neidhart, has been with WWE since 2007 and, during her time with the company, has had many highs and lows. Her career highlights would come via winning the WWE Divas Championship and WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship. However, a career low point would arguably be when she was given a flatulence gimmick, which came across as a way to embarrass her. Yet despite this, she has always stayed over with fans and, in some people’s opinions, was an irreplaceable member of the women’s roster given her experience.
