Lacuna Coil Guitarist Responds To Being Ousted From Band
Italian gothic metal outfit Lacuna Coil surprised fans earlier this week when they announced they were parting ways with longtime guitarist Diego Cavallotti. “As we step into a new cycle, writing and recording our next album, we are parting ways with Diego ‘DD’ Cavallotti,” the band wrote in a statement. “We thank him for the many unforgettable moments shared over the years and wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors. All future live plans remain unchanged and the new songs are taking form, we can’t wait to share them with our fans.” Cavallotti joined the band temporarily in 2016 but...

What’s Known About Lio Rush’s Current AEW Status
At the end of May, Lio Rush returned to AEW after a three-year absence to participate in a Casino Gauntlet Match on Dynamite, also featuring stars like Will Ospreay, Claudio Castagnoli, and Orange Cassidy. Yet, while Rush would be unsuccessful during this match, he has since wrestled three more times for the promotion leading to speculation that he may have re-signed with the company. And now Fightful Select has shared an update with their subscribers, revealing they’re not sure of his actual contract status but confirmed he is expected to be a regular for the promotion from now on. The majority of pro wrestling fans are most familiar with 29-year-old Rush for his time in WWE, where he held the NXT Cruiserweight Championship and even managed Bobby Lashley. Still, his career suffered after he developed a reputation for getting backstage heat due to alleged attitude problems. This, along with injuries and mental health struggles, saw him announce his retirement from the business on more than one occasion. However, he appears to be in a good place currently, paving the way for him to finally reach his full potential.
New WWE Trademark Application Has Left Fans Speculating About Potential Name Change Or New Talent Debut
Trademark applications are typically an excellent way to see what plans wrestling promotions have and, in the past, have revealed fresh characters and even new pay-per-views. And now it has been noted that WWE has just applied for the name “Caesar Sikoa,” which has resulted in speculation that the company is going to rename Solo Sikoa. However, others have suggested it could potentially be the WWE name Jacob Fatu uses when he finally debuts having signed for the company earlier this year. Solo Sikoa is currently leading The Bloodline because Roman Reigns is on hiatus following his WrestleMania XL defeat to Cody Rhodes. Subsequently, Sikoa kicked Jimmy Uso out of the stable and introduced Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa to the group. Additionally, it is understood that WWE recently signed Hikuleo, who had been working for New Japan, with it expected that their trademark application for “Talla Tonga” is for him due to his middle name being “Taula.”
Matt Riddle Teases Working For Major Adult Website
Considering Matt Riddle is currently in a relationship with adult film actress Misha Montana, it probably shouldn’t come as a surprise he is open to creating spicy content. And now, having previously teased opening an OnlyFans account, he has wished adult content provider Brazzers a happy birthday via X and said, “I’ll see you soon.” Whether the former MMA fighter is genuinely considering moving into the world of adult movies or just looking for attention isn’t clear. Still, based on the barely there photo he shared, he certainly appears qualified. After being released by WWE last year, 38-year-old Riddle has been steadily rebuilding his wrestling career on the indies, working most weekends all over the country. Additionally, he has found a new home in the States with MLW and has additionally worked abroad for New Japan. However, after he was recently involved in a car accident when on his way to the airport, he had to cancel some dates due to having suffered a concussion.

The Wyatt Sick6 Were Photographed Unmasked At A Fast Food Restaurant Following Raw
Following months of hype, Uncle Howdy returned to WWE television this past Monday night as Uncle Howdy and didn’t come along as he was with Nikki Cross as Sister Abigail, Dexter Lumis as Mercy the Buzzard, Joe Gacy as Huskus the Pig, and Erick Rowan as Ramblin Rabbit. And now, after leaving wrestling buzzing and eagerly awaiting what happens next, a kayfabe-breaking photo of the group has been shared on Reddit, showing the group at Whataburger getting a meal following their epic backstage angle. Shortly after Raw went off the air, WWE wasted no time making merchandise available for the new stable and, in the process, revealed they would be known as the “Wyatt Sicks,” also stylized as “Wyatt Sick6.” Obviously, this leaves one spot open, and while some online are expecting Alexa Bliss to fill this eventually, others believe it will remain vacant, having already been filled spiritually by Bray Wyatt.
Clarification On Who Was Attacked By The Wyatt Sick6 Backstage
This week’s episode of Raw ended with Uncle Howdy and his Wyatt Sick6 stable causing backstage havoc with plenty of v victims visible. However, except for Chad Gable, it wasn’t clear who was among them, which resulted in a great deal of speculation online, with names like Gunther, Dominic Mysterio, and even Triple H suggested. Yet according to PWInsider.com, Gable was the only talent taken out, with everyone else being extras. WWE first hinted at the return of Uncle Howdy at the conclusion of Peacock’s new Bray Wyatt documentary, “Becoming Immortal,” with a lantern appearing in a post-credit scene and a voice saying, “Run.” Subsequently, WWE would begin introducing glitches and QR codes to their programming as they did before Wyatt’s return to the company in 2022. And while some fans were concerned that the company would overhype and underdeliver, at least so far, that hasn’t been the case.
Former WWE Talent Cameron Grimes Shows Off His Stylish New Look
WWE released Cameron Grimes two months ago following five years with the company. And while this was obviously a huge blow to the wrestler, who is now going by his former name, Trevor Lee, according to his social media, his diary is full of indie dates. Yet it appears fans seeing him compete in person may be in for a surprise, as he has, according to the photo posted on his Instagram Stories, he has revamped his look, having shaved off his trademark beard. 30-year-old Grimes first made his name for himself on the independent circuit, which led him to TNA in 2015, where he went on to become a three-time X Division Champion. However, his ambitions were loftier than just working for TNA, and he subsequently signed with WWE in early 2019. Within three months, he was rebranded as Cameron Grimes and became a regular feature on NXT television. But it was his reimagining in 2021 as the Richest Man in NXT, a character that capitalized on the GameStop stock rise, that catapulted his career to the next level and opened the door for him to join the main roster.
Corey Graves Discloses How Uncle Howdy’s Return Emotionally Affected Him
The wrestling world was hit hard when Bray Wyatt tragically passed away aged just 36, and since then, many of those who had the pleasure to know him have paid tribute to him in various ways. Among them was SmackDown commentator Corey Graves, who had a picture of The Fiend inked onto his body as a lasting tribute to his departed friend and colleague. And now, following the return of Uncle Howdy and the debut of the Wyatt Sick6, Graves has revealed on Over The Top with Peter Rosenberg how emotional this made him. Graves and Wyatt started their WWE journey in the company’s former developmental territory, Florida Championship Wrestling. Yet, while their careers went in different directions, they remained close. So much in fact that Graves disclosed during his podcast that Wyatt’s death hit him so hard he had to speak to his therapist about it, revealing he “fell apart” in his hotel room following the news. Therefore, it can only be hoped that WWE’s attempt to continue Wyatt’s legacy also plays a part in the healing process of Graves and fans worldwide.
Chris Jericho Shares Who He Thinks Killed WCW
The new Vice documentary series “Who Killed WCW?” is a current hot topic among wrestling fans, and “Dark Side Of The Ring” creators Evan Husney and Jason Eisener are producers on the project. The pair talked all about the show on the latest episode of “Talk Is Jericho.” While most wrestling fans agree that there was a combination of many events and factors that led to the ultimate demise of WCW, Chris Jericho offered up his thoughts on what killed the promotion during the interview. He also echoed the sentiment that it was a number of things, but pointed to...
Why MJF Vs. Rush Couldn’t Take Place At Forbidden Door
During this week’s episode of Dynamite, the show would open with MJF vs. Rush in a hard-hitting match that has subsequently been highly praised online. However, given the status of both men, fans were surprised that the match didn’t take place at AEW’s upcoming Forbidden Door pay-per-view, with it assumed that AEW had decided to air MJF’s first match since Worlds End on Dynamite to get a ratings boost. Yet, it has now been revealed by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio that the actual reason was because the luchador isn’t allowed to compete on the PPV as “CMLL would not be happy with Rush on that show.” While Rush is officially signed to AEW, the speculation is that there is heat on him with CMLL management after he and his brother Dragon Lee worked ROH’s Death Before Dishonor event instead of CMLL’s 86th Anniversary Show back in 2019. This decision would see the duo fired and go on to work for their rivals, AAA. Therefore, it appears that despite five years having passed, Rush remains a pariah as far as CMLL is concerned, and given their involvement in Forbidden Door, they are putting their foot down.
Vince Russo Doubles Down On The Bold Statement He Made During “Who Killed WCW?”
WCW is again a hot topic of conversation among wrestling fans online, with Vice currently airing a new docuseries titled ‘Who Killed WCW?’ And while many who worked for the company have appeared to share their stories, one of the most prominently featured has been Vince Russo. However, the writer who made himself an on-air character while in charge of booking has now caused a new wave of controversy, stating during the third episode that “I was better than 80% of that roster.” This would see Russo ridiculed and criticized for this take, sparking a lively debate among wrestling fans. Still, rather than backing away from his bold statement, he has instead taken to X to double down, further fueling the fire. 63-year-old Russo made his name in WWE, having gone from being their magazine editor to working alongside Vince McMahon in penning the product. Therefore, when he and colleague Ed Ferrara jumped to WCW in 1999, many considered this a major coup and predicted WCW would again rule in the ratings. Yet, the exact opposite would happen with the brash New Yorker making some very questionable booking decisions, such as putting the WCW World Championship on actor David Arquette and later himself.
Matt Hardy Responds To Fan Who Says He Didn’t Enhance Private Party
During his time in AEW, Matt Hardy would work alongside and against Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen, collectively known as Private Party. Yet, while the alliance and rivalry had potential, it was never treated as a focal part of AEW television. However, after one fan stated on X that Hardy failed to enhance the duo, the current TNA wrestler responded by noting that he wasn’t in control of the booking and that both men had gotten to learn a great deal from him. Private Party, also known as Zay and Quen, began teaming in 2015 while working for New York-based House of Glory. Subsequently, they wrestled for various independent promotions, which eventually led them to debut for AEW at Fyter Fest in 2019. From there, they would wrestle on both Dynamite and Dark and worked with notable names like Adam Page, Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, Jon Moxley, and even Sting. And while an injury to Quen would cause the team to go on hiatus for a year, they have since reunited and are set for one of the biggest matches in some time when they wrestle Chris Jericho and Big Bill on the June 22 edition of AEW Collision.
James Hetfield Names Two Metallica Songs He Wants Band To Play More Live
With some classic rock and metal bands, when it comes to the live performance they stick to their hits. While most audiences obviously want to hear a band’s most well-known songs, die hard fans grow tired of hearing the same set. Metallica has always been good at rotating songs from their entire catalog in and out of their setlist. Sure, you’re going to hear “Enter Sandman” and “One,” but on occasion they’ll also break out deep cuts like “Bleeding Me,” “Ride The Lightning” and several other tracks loved by their fans. Even better is that the band almost always posts pro-shot...
Queen Sets Record For Most Expensive Song Catalog Ever Sold
Rock & Roll Hall Of Famers Queen have an extensive and lengthy catalog full of memorable hit songs and albums. In recent years, many classic artists have begun to sell the rights to their music catalogs for some hefty money. Bruce Springsteen reportedly got $500 million for his tunes. Michael Jackson’s estate sold half of his catalog for a reported $600 million. Queen, however, has topped them all, selling their catalog for a staggering $1.27 billion according to Variety. The deal includes all songs, logos, music videos, merchandise, publishing and other business opportunities. The only revenue not in the deal is the money the band makes on live performances, which they will retain. Queen formed in 1971. Their mega-hits include “We Will Rock You”, “We Are The Champions”, “Don’t Stop Me Now”, “Radio Ga Ga”, “Somebody To Love” and “Bohemian Rhapsody,” among several others. Original lead singer and rock icon Freddie Mercury passed away in 1991 from complications due to AIDS. The band has been fronted by former “American Idol” contestant Adam Lambert since 2011.
Downstait Has A New Wrestling Theme In The Works
Indiana-based rockers Downstait have become the go-to band for new wrestling entrance themes. The band has found immense success with their song, “Kingdom,” which is used by WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes, and they’ve also written the entrance themes for The Miz, Dolph Ziggler and several others. Singer Zack Call has hinted that the band is currently working on another entrance theme. “We like to keep it under wraps until the performer comes out and they start doing some of the promotion on their end,” Call told “Reffin It Up” with Brian Hebner and Jimmy Korderas. “Most of the people...
Very Surprising Information Revealed Regarding Shane McMahon’s Interest In Joining AEW
Shane McMahon hasn’t been seen on WWE television since WrestleMania 39 when he tore his quad in what was meant to have been an impromptu match against The Miz. Subsequently, with WWE merging with Endeavor to create TKO and his father, Vince McMahon, resigning from the company due to the Janel Grant scandal, it appeared the 54-year-old’s time in the business could be over. However, after it was recently speculated about him potentially joining AEW during an episode of Jim Ross’ popular podcast, the AEW commentator’s co-host Conrad Thompson has revealed that he’s been told that Shane has been in touch with some of...
NXT Wrestler Deactivates GoFundMe Shortly After Launch
Saquon Shugars, previously known as Lucky Ali on the indies, signed with WWE late last year after a successful tryout and looks set to get every opportunity to be a star. However, he recently suffered a serious knee injury and is currently sidelined for the foreseeable future. Yet, despite this, he isn’t keeping a low profile as he has grabbed fan’s attention on social media, having launched a GoFundMe and shared his Cash App details to “Get Shugars back on his feet.“ As of writing, Shugars has raised $404, with John Cena responsible for $300 of this, although it doesn’t appear this amount...
The Bunny Shares Update On Her Pro Wrestling Future Following AEW Departure
Last November, eagle-eyed fans spotted that AEW original Allie, also known as The Bunny, had removed those famous initials from her social media bios, with it later verified that she was no longer with the company. Subsequently, there was some speculation that she might return to TNA. However, that hasn’t happened, and now, during a recent virtual signing with K&S Wrestlefest, she has confirmed that she is taking a break from the business. Yet, she still left a glimmer of hope for her fans, saying, “Never say never” about a potential comeback. 36-year-old Allie, real name Laura Dennis, broke into the business in 2005 under the ring name Cherry Bomb and has since wrestled for multiple promotions, including TNA, ROH, and CZW. This led to her becoming one of AEW’s first female signings following the company’s launch, and after initially being used as a singles wrestler, she later also became the valet of The Butcher and The Blade tag team.
