Webberville farm welcomes corn maze of Lions coach’s face

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A farm in Webberville cut and designed its annual corn maze in the likeness of Detroit Lions coach Dan Campbell. The maze was designed by Precision Mazes.

Loretta Benjamin, a co-owner of Choice Farm Market , says that the maze “had just [been] cut… and all of a sudden somebody’s texting me that our maze had been leaked out.”

Benjamin told 6 News that Precision Mazes posted the first video on social media last Friday, but the company attributed it to the wrong farm.

“We were trying to do corrections on the [maze’s] location… get our video out there and you know, kinda get on top of things with our PR,” said Benjamin. “But, we are just absolutely thrilled that people are loving this and it’s getting a lot of attention.”

The farm had been planning to have a Detroit Lions-themed maze since last fall.

“We’ve been Lions fans our entire lives and you know, I can say this is one of the most exciting times that we’ve experienced,” said Benjamin.

Benjamin described the design process as collaborative between Precision Mazes and her whole family and staff, — who are thrilled about the upcoming fall season and have many plans for events and activities.

“Inside the maze itself, we’ll have a lot of different interactive things to do,” Benjamin said.

This includes checkpoints where visitors can scan a QR code and receive a trivia question—which will all be Lions-themed.

Choice Farm Market is located on Holt Rd in Webberville, Michigan and the maze opens Sept. 28th.
