Multiple agencies respond to Farr West warehouse fire
FARR WEST, Utah, June 30, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Crews from six agencies responded to a warehouse fire in the Weber County City of Farr West Saturday night. The fire was in a commercial warehouse at 3722 N. Higley Road. First responders to included Weber Fire District, Roy City Fire, North View Fire, Ogden City Fire, Riverdale Fire and the Weber County Sheriff‘s Office.
Multi-agency effort contains grass fire threatening structures in West Weber County
WEST WEBER COUNTY, Utah — Multiple fire departments and the Weber County Sheriff's Office swiftly contained a grass fire threatening several structures on Sunday afternoon. At approximately 2:45 p.m. on June 30, 2024, crews from Weber Fire District, North View Fire District, Ogden City, Roy City, Riverdale City, Hill AFB Little Mountain, and South Ogden Fire Departments, along with the Weber County Sheriff's Office, responded to the blaze. Upon arrival, they encountered heavy smoke and flames involving two large haystacks in a field, which were spreading rapidly and endangering three nearby structures.

LOGAN — New fire restrictions are in effect for nine northern Utah counties. The limitations begin Monday, July 1. Officials with the Utah Department of Natural Resources announced Sunday that "all unincorporated Private and State lands in Box Elder, Cache, Rich, Weber, Tooele, Utah, Salt Lake, Davis, & Morgan Counties" will be placed under stage one fire restrictions.

Structure fire in Farr West, Weber County still causing problems for firefighters
FARR WEST, Utah — A structure fire caused severe damage to a commercial warehouse in Farr West, Weber County Saturday night, Weber Fire District confirmed. David Reed with the Weber Fire District said the fire is still causing problems for crews, as there is a spot between the ceiling and the roof of the warehouse that keeps “glowing like embers.”
