Evansville Woman Dies in I-69 Wreck
An Evansville woman is dead after an accident Wednesday morning in Webster County. According to Kentucky State Police, at approximately 1:32am, the Webster County Sheriff’s Department requested KSP Post 2 to investigate a fatal collision on Interstate 69. Preliminary investigation revealed that 30-year-old Dexter B. George of Greenville was operating a silver Ford F-350 southbound on I-69. At around the 131-mile marker, the Silver Ford collided with a red Nisan Altima that was traveling northbound in the southbound lane. The red Nissan Altima was operated by 25-year-old Krista N. Brune of Evansville. Brune was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Webster County Coroner. Dexter B. George did not report any injuries.

Crossover crash on I-69 kills 25-year-old woman
A woman has been killed in a crossover crash on I-69 in Webster County. The wreck occurred Wednesday morning at approximately 1:30 at the 131-mile marker of southbound I-69. Kentucky State Police said the investigation showed that 30-year-old Dexter B. George, of Greenville, was driving a Ford F-350 in the southbound lanes when he collided with a northbound Nissan Altima that crossed the median and was traveling in the southbound lane.
