Fantauzzo Family Brands to build restaurant in Sandbar Park in Webster

WEBSTER, N.Y. (WROC) — After years of anticipation, News 8 has learned who will build a new restaurant at Sandbar Park in Webster: Fantauzzo Family Brands. The new place is expected to open in 2025.

The Sandbar Park in Webster opened in November of 2023. The town had bought the land 20 years prior to turn it into a park.

Part of that plan was demolishing the old Bayside Pub in 2022.

This new place will not be a Salvatore’s, but rather a new concept, specifically made for this spot.

“We’re working on creating a new menu, hopefully bringing back some of what used to be here, at the bayside pub, and entirely new items, seafood, steaks, full bar,” said President of Operations of Fantauzzo Brands, Kayla Kent-Moreira on-site Monday.

She says the group has not settled on a name yet. But once they open, live music, comedy and other community events will be on the menu, too.

“So we’re really excited for something new, something in Webster, this is Soccer Sam’s kicking stomping grounds are, so we’re excited to be here and offer something different to the community I think they’re really going to love,” she added.
