Breaking News: City Council sets millage rate at 4.8399
The Apopka City Council voted 5-0 to increase the millage rate to 4.8399 for its FY2024/25 budget. Apopka City Administrator Jacob Smith and Finance Director Blanche Sherman proposed a millage increase of 4.4376 at the June 10th millage rate meeting, while Commissioner Alexander Smith suggested raising the millage rate to 4.6876.
