Statue of Child Jesus beheaded by vandal
The Diocese of Brooklyn announced that a statue at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church in Fresh Meadows was vandalized last Sunday at around 5:30 a.m. In footage released by the diocese, a taxi driver is seen parking his vehicle across the street from the church. He approaches the Holy Family statue, hits Joseph and Mary, and decapitates Child Jesus, whose head was later found on the ground nearby.
