Bill Belichick, the six-time Super Bowl champion famously known as unfriendly to the media, continues to build his media portfolio.

On Wednesday, Underdog Fantasy released a teaser video on social media announcing a new football show with Belichick. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Belichick will co-produce the new program , and will feature the legendary head coach “breaking down film, taking fans through the process as if he were coaching the team.”

“I partnered with Underdog because Underdog is a sports company run by sports people,” said Belichick in the teaser video. “They want sports to connect to the fans, and that’s what I want to do. I want to find a connection to the fans where I give the fans what they’ve asked me for in terms of content. Behind the scenes information, decision making that goes on within the organization, and a breakdown of schematics and personnel within the game.

“[I want to] bring all this real football conversation and decisions to the fans. Underdog wants to do that, I want to do that, so it was a great fit.”

This new show is just the latest venture to be announced for Belichick, who has been busy signing deals with multiple media outlets this offseason.

This football season will see Belichick making regular appearances on ESPN’s ManningCast , weekly hits on The Pat McAfee Show , and working as an analyst on the 48th season of Inside the NFL, now airing on The CW.

Whether Belichick will ever return to an NFL sideline as a head coach remains to be seen. There have been multiple reports throughout the offseason stating Belichick has his eyes set on coaching again as soon as next season , and that this foray into media is an attempt to soften his image.

After he and the Patriots agreed to a mutual parting of ways earlier this year, there was reportedly intense interest from the Atlanta Falcons to hire Belichick, leading to multiple rounds of interviews . Ultimately, the Falcons went in a different direction, opting for 47-year-old Raheem Morris .

The 72-year-old Belichick has a 302-165 career regular season record as a head coach. Those 302 wins are good for third-most in NFL history behind George Halas (318) and Don Shula (328).

Let’s see if this run on television cements Belichick at his spot in third place, or lights a fire under him to put the headset back on for one last run at the top of the mountain.
