We’re Living in the Golden Age of Shortstops
In baseball, there aren’t nearly as many player vs. player barbershop-style debates as sports like basketball where the players are actually facing off against each other head-to-head. However, for the past decade, we’ve been graced with what was known as one of the golden ages of third baseman. We’ve been on a tear of superstars that could pick it from the hot corner and slug all at or near their primes that the debate from the top of the list generated conversation. It was Platinum Glove Award-winner Nolan Arenado, slugging Manny Machado, all-around hitters Jose Ramirez and Rafael Devers, and fielding savant Matt Chapman, or the hitter with championship pedigree in Alex Bregman.

Clubless Former Stars in EPL Teams in 2024
Several former star players in the Premier League teams have been clubless in 2024, one of whom was the award winner recently. The summer transfer window will soon be open again, and clubs will be making new signings until August to either overhaul the squad or simply strengthen the team with one or two players. The clubs will be expected to be more careful in spending their transfer fee to avoid overspending and breaking the rules in financial fair play. Two clubs have already had their points deducted because of such financial violations. Last season, Everton and Nottingham Forest were suspended by an eight-point deduction. Fortunately, both managed to survive the relegation threat.

Tobias Harris Next Team Odds: Where Will Forward Play In 2024-25?
For a franchise that hasn’t met postseason expectations, Tobias Harris is a good scapegoat for the latest turn. The Sixers were eliminated by the rival Knicks in six games, and Harris, who averaged 17.2 ppg on the season, was blanked on 0-for-2 shooting in the clincher. He had attempted 10-11 shots the previous four games but only scored over 10 points once.
Changing of the Guard
In 2003, Chelsea rewrote the Premier League’s DNA. Roman Abramovich’s takeover of the club signified a new era of owners in the league. The legacy left by Abramovich fits in well with the way that the league attempted to change the sport. Across the history of sport, team...
