Aunts and uncles can be some of the most important and influential people in a child's life — but just because your sibling loves your kid doesn't mean they won't still get on your nerves from time to time. In fact, sometimes even the best aunts and uncles can't help but start a little trouble...because sibling rivalry never really goes away!

In a video posted on June 26, one sneaky aunt gets "sweet revenge" on her sister by giving her niece the noisiest gift of all time for her 2nd birthday...and the mom does not look the least bit happy (even if the little girl seems thrilled!).

"My sister hates me, revenge was so sweet though," wrote Emily Barlow . Welp, so much for peace and quiet. Big brother seems to like the brand new drum set even more than his little sister! This is pretty typical behavior for adult siblings, as the comments proved.

"My uncle and aunt did the same for me at Xmas, the next year, my parents got their kids a trumpet each," wrote Clara.

"My nieces and nephews will always get the most obnoxious toys I can find, because you mean I can annoy my brother without even having to see him? Sign me up," wrote peachesoclock.

"My brother got my daughter a recorder, so I got his a kazoo," wrote Shian.

One thing's for sure — this aunt better watch her back, because her sister is not going to forgive her anytime soon! On the plus side, learning how to play the drums can have a positive effect on children's cognitive development (as long as their parents can stand it).

What's the Best Age for Kids to Learn How to Play Drums?

The little girl in this video might be a bit young yet to start her drumming career, but big brother might be good to go. The best age to start drum lessons is usually between 6 and 7, according to School of Rock, because "this is the age when most students gain the mental focus needed to learn an instrument" (though there are exceptions). So how can you tell if your child is ready?

First of all, you need to make sure that your kid can hold drum sticks comfortably.

"Children may get frustrated in beginning drum lessons if the sticks are too big for their hands. If the drumsticks are too big, consider hand percussion instead."

Kids should be able to count to four, and have some basic rhythmic ability.

"If you notice your child can keep rhythm as they dance or play along to songs, then they have the basic rhythmic ability needed to learn an instrument."

One of the most important factors (as with any endeavor) is that your child is motivated to play the drums. They also need to be able to focus for 30 to 45 minutes (the approximate length of a lesson), and have time in their daily routine for practice.
"Regular practice is essential for learning any instrument. Children with no time to practice drumming will not see results and become frustrated. Our experts recommend students practice their beginning drum lessons for at least 30 minutes every day."

Of course, that means you need to be ready to listen to 30 minutes of drumming every day, too!

I bought my nephew, a voice changing megaphone and made sure he opened the present at grandma and grandpa‘s house so he could play with it. Yes, my brother and sister-in-law were so annoyed two months later given a call ask my brother where was the megaphone now oh we finally got it from him and it’s up in the hallway closet. Of course I want to say hi to my nephew say hi to my nephew and tell him where the megaphone is located for him to start the ruckus all over again, oh such fun.

My brother told his ex that he was getting my nephew a electric guitar for Christmas. She said that HE wasn't allowed to get him an amp to go with it. So, I bought him a small one at the pawn shop for him. She wasn't happy.
