    Spring Clean-Up dates scheduled for Union Co.

    HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Union County officials say Spring Clean-Up dates have been set for all magisterial districts.

    Officials provided the following scheduled dates and locations:

    • DISTRICT 2 – Located on 2nd Street, next to Turner Building
      • April 19 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
      • April 20 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    • DISTRICTS 1 and 5 – Located by Meuth Concrete, 124 Commerce Road, Morganfield
      • May 10 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
      • May 11 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    • DISTRICTS 3 and 4 – Located at the Union County Expo Center
      • May 17 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
      • May 18 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    Officials ask for people to please take advantage of this opportunity to legally discard of unwanted waste and materials.

    • Furniture
    • Mattresses
    • Bed frames
    • Appliances
    • Tubs
    • Showers
    • Toilets
    • Scrap metal
    • Tires

    • Exercise equipment
    • Tools
    • Glass
    • Mirrors
    • Windows
    • Electronics
    Union County officials reporting significant damage

    Here are the things people are told not to bring:

    • Hazardous waste
    • Chemicals
    • Paint
    • Gas
    • Diesel
    • Propane cylinders
    • Oxygen tanks
    • Yard waste
