“Mickey” heading to MIT to play football

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – “Mickey” is headed to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to play football, and more importantly, pursue a top-notch education.

Michael Bailey earned a 4.5 GPA while bolstering the Maroons offensive line to 43 points per game. Now, he is taking his gridiron and classroom talents to the highest level, with a pursuit of being a mechanical engineer.

Mickey is the first ever to commit to MIT from Hopkins County.
