EVSC experiencing internet outage

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Officials say the EVSC is experiencing a system-wide internet outage.

Officials say EVSC’s service provider is working to correct the issue. This outage is impacting school phones. If anyone has an urgent issue for their school, please call 812-435-8453 and leave a message. EVSC says the messages will be monitored and relayed to schools.

Officials say the internet service provider has identified a possible issue with its fiber optics line in the region so it may take some time for them to make the repair.

Officials with EVSC say teachers/classes can quickly pivot –they have internet hot spots throughout the district.
