EVSC dismissing early May 8 due to storm threat

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Officials say The National Weather Service is predicting strong storms in the region this afternoon and into the night. Because of this, the EVSC will be dismissing all schools one hour early on May 8.

EVSC officials say this means all schools and programs will dismiss one hour before their normal dismissal time. There will be no extended day afternoon day care.

Officials note that all extra-curricular activities, events and programs are canceled for May 8.
