    Final beam to be raised at Princeton YMCA site

    HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT)- A new milestone will be reached for the YMCA being built in Gibson County today.

    Traveling City Hall to be held this week in Evansville

    Crews building the Toyota Indiana YMCA in Princeton will raise the final beam in the building’s structure. The 50,000 square foot facility is under construction at the site of the former Lowell Elementary School. The beam raising ceremony will take place around 2:00 p.m., and participants will have an opportunity to sign the beam before it is hoisted into place.

    Upon completion, the facility will feature a pool, fitness area, locker rooms child care among its services. The new YMCA is set to open in January of next year.
