HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The Daviess County Board of Education has approved a 4% salary increase for every Daviess County Public Schools employee along with the annual experience increase for all eligible staff.

In addition to the raise for all employees, the board approved market wage adjustments to select classified employee categories. Board members said the raises are well-deserved and represent a way the board is dedicated to keeping valuable people in DCPS.

    Broughton Named Next DCPS Superintendent

“I am always impressed by the way our board supports our educators and staff,” said Superintendent Matt Robbins. “They are constantly supporting our schools at events and ceremonies, but with approval of these salary increases today, this displays the board’s financial commitment. Our staff truly deserve it, and everyone works so hard to put kids first each and every day.”

Officials say this is the largest percentage increase to take place in 16 years.
