WARRICK COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) – What is normally a grassy area was covered in water at Friedman Park in Warrick County. A lake spilling out of its banks caused floodwaters to get close to some of the trails and an adjacent parking lot. Those floodwaters overspread dozens of trees on the park’s grounds.

A park worker on site estimates the flood waters reached areas more than 180 feet away from where the edge of the lake should be. High water also forced the closure of some trails at the park. Crews were also on hand to replace mulch that was washed out of a playground from flash flooding.
