HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) has announced an immediate closure of KY 593 at the 4-mile marker in McLean County.

Officials say this is just north of the intersection of KY 593 and KY 1233.

Highway striping begins May 20 in western Kentucky

KYTC explains the closure is to allow its personnel an opportunity to address potential asphalt and base issues at that location. Engineers are currently assessing the situation. KYTC says the duration of the closure is currently unknown.
