HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The Warrick County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) is asking for people to report storm damage.

Officials say on May 14, there was an EF-1 tornado touchdown but also a lot of flash flooding in the area as well. The EMA says it was recently notified on May 20 that houses were damaged due to water getting inside them. The EMA says it has started the Damage Assessment Process and officials also have talked with the State Homeland Security to activate the 211 service so the EMA can collect the information and come out to inspect it and take photos.

The EMA says individuals can visit this website and click on “Damage Reporting” to submit a report. Those without access to the internet can instead dial 2-1-1 or 866-211-9966 and the EMA says it will assist them.
