Plaque honoring former Owensboro commissioner unveiled

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – During Friday after 5, Owensboro officials unveiled a plaque dedicating Overlook Stage to former City Commissioner Larry Maglinger.

Family and friends of Maglinger joined the dedication. Officials thanked everyone who came out to honor his memory and legacy.

Maglinger was a frequent performer at Friday after 5, singing his renditions of Rod Stewart classics. He passed away in April of 2023.
