Judge Dame in McLean County declares state of emergency

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — McLean County Judge Executive Curtis Dame has verbally declared a state of emergency.

On social media, Dame declared this due to storm damage south of Green River and to assist the city of Island and surrounding areas with storm debris removal and water line issues.

“Please remain weather aware and also please avoid those areas to help reduce traffic congestion,” Dame said.
