Beshear surveys storm damage in Muhlenberg County

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear visited areas affected by the tornado on Monday, including Muhlenberg County.

Beshear was at homes in Beechmont providing resources for those impacted by the storm. The governor said it’s the worst weather event he’s seen since the 2021 tornadoes, but he’s proud of local leadership’s response times.

Officials say roads and yards are being cleared as quickly as possible, and water pipes are being repaired. Governor Beshear says people deserve to have others show up for them, and it’s important for them to know their city and state care.
