Traffic violator for life found naked and passed out in car

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — An Evansville man is facing multiple drug charges, as well as public indecency, after deputies say they found him sleeping naked in a running car.

According to an affidavit, several employees of a gas station found David Hamilton passed out completely naked in the driver’s seat of his car while it was running.

Deputies say they observed multiple syringes inside the vehicle before they tried to make contact, where Hamilton allegedly stated he was using methamphetamine.

After questioning Hamilton, deputies say they searched the car and found a black bag that had a large quantity of drug paraphernalia.

Deputies say Hamilton had two active felony warrants and his Indiana driver status revealed he was a Habitual Traffic Violator for Life.

Hamilton, who is currently being held a the Vanderburgh County Jail, was arrested and charged with:

• Manufacturing/dealing methamphetamine
• Possessing a hypodermic syringe or needle
• Indecent exposure
• Possessing paraphernalia
• Theft
• False government issued ID
• Operating while a Habitual Traffic Violator for Life
