Evansville man accused of molesting then 8-year-old girl

HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – An Evansville man is facing child molesting charges stemming from multiple alleged incidents several years ago.

According to an affidavit, a 15-year-old girl now living out of state talked with officials about what she claimed a man inappropriately touched her when she was eight and still living in Evansville.

She said the man responsible was Marcus Stroud, 45. She claims Stroud was living at her house at the time, and the alleged incidents happened more than once.

The victim claimed Stroud would push her against a bedroom wall and inappropriately touch her. She said this happened on more than once occasion, and the alleged actions made her sick once.

Stroud was booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail Tuesday morning at 10:41 a.m.
