Glema Mahr Chamber Music Series presents violinist Eunice Kim

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The Glema Mahr Chamber Music Series presents violinist Eunice Kim.

Event organizers describe her as “a young artist with a unique voice.” A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, the award-winning violinist has been featured soloist with many ensembles including The Philadelphia Orchestra, Louisville Orchestra and the Albany Symphony Orchestra.

Organizers say Kim’s creative work includes time with Ensemble39, a contemporary quintet of strings and winds devoted to commissioning new music and “pushing the boundaries of the concert experience.”

According to the Glema Center, the event will take place on September 5 at 7 p.m. at the Glema Mahr Center for the Arts. It costs $25 for general admission, but students get in free.

People can purchase tickets online or in person Monday through Friday from 10 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Glema Center Ticket Office or by phone at 270-821-2787. The Glema Mahr Chamber Music Series opens its 2024 25 Season with Kim in concert on September 5 at 7 p.m. The audience will be seated onstage for this event.
