RiverValley celebrates International Overdose Awareness Day

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT)- RiverValley Behavioral Health is inviting the public to attend their second annual International Overdose Awareness Day Event at Moreland Park in Owensboro today.

The event will take place from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and will feature more than 20 vendors, free resources and information, Narcan distribution, CPR training, free pizza and lots of family-friendly activities. The event will also feature a recognition for first responders.

During the event’s inaugural year in 2023, it was attended by more than 400 community members.
