Easterseals President visits Evansville Rehabilitation Center

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT)- The Easterseals Rehabilitation Center in Evansville gets a glowing review from its national office.

Easterseals National President and CEO, Kendra Davenport made a visit to Evansville on Tuesday as part of her Listening Tour of local affiliates across the country.

Davenport says that she was blown away by Evansville, both in its programs and the individuals involved in the organization locally. She says its part of the reason that the affiliate has been around for more than 50 years. She says, “I think the vibrancy of the programs, the desire to expand and deepen programs, and the commitment expressed by board members at a reception held last night- People who have been involved for 20, 30 years or more- that really speaks volumes about how much they value the programs that Eastersals does.”

Easterseals has 70 local affiliates across the country, with each providing unique programs and services to serve their local communities.
