    Mammoth Cave ranked 3rd most disappointing U.S. attraction

    HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — New research has ranked Kentucky attraction Mammoth Cave National Park the third most disappointing tourist attraction in the U.S..

    The new study used websites like Google and Tripadvisor to look for 1–3-star reviews. They then used those reviews to look for words like disappointment, subpar and more to identify disappointed visitors.

    Mammoth Cave National Park left 19.38% of reviewers feeling underwhelmed. The Kentucky cave is well-known for being the world’s longest cave system.

    The new study also revealed the least disappointing tourist attractions. Those attractions saw percentages of disappointed reviews as low as 2.36%.
