HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — A Louisiana woman was arrested in Evansville Wednesday after she was accused of pointing a gun at man during an argument.

Evansville Police say they were dispatched to a hotel on Stahl Road after a call was made about a woman yelling she was going to kill someone.

Police made contact with the victim, and he identified the suspect as Alexis McGee. The victim told police that an argument started after the light was turned on in the hotel room.

An affidavit obtained by Eyewitness News states the victim told police that McGee pointed a gun in his face during the argument. The victim went on to say McGee told him he was lucky she did not shoot him in the face before leaving.

Police say the victim wanted to press charges because getting a gun pointed in his face was “not cool.”

McGee was found after the victim gave a description of her vehicle to police. She was arrested after a traffic stop where illegal pills and a bottle of THC water was found.
