Donald Rainwater to attend Farm Bureau event in Posey Co.

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Officials say Libertarian candidate for Indiana Governor Donald Rainwater will attend the Farm Bureau of Posey County’s Cream the Candidate event on August 25 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time. In addition, he will also attend the Evansville Small Business Night Out from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Central Time as a speaker.

Officials with Rainwater’s campaign say the Cream the Candidates event will host several candidates, and ice cream can be purchased from the host business, The Granary. The Small Business Night Out will feature music from 2012 “Battle of the Blues winner” Boscoe France, a nacho eating competition and door prizes.

According to a spokesperson for the campaign, at both of these events, Hoosiers will hear directly from Donald Rainwater on his solutions for the issues surrounding Indiana property taxes, gasoline taxes and education reform, as well as his plans to bring “Better Government, not Bigger Government” back to Indiana.

The Granary is located at 413 Granary Street in New Harmony. Main Street Food and Beverage is located at 900 Main Street in Evansville.
