Minor injuries after car rolls down embankment

HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – Evansville Police confirms minor injuries after a car went off the road on the west side of the city.

Officials state it happened at Broadway Avenue at around 12:45 p.m. near Rollett Lane.

Police estimated the car was almost 15 feet deep into a ditch and says it hit a concrete wall for a culvert.

EPD says the driver had a bloody nose and a busted lip but was ok.

Broadway Avenue was closed to traffic for almost an hour. Broadway has seen an increase in traffic as drivers use the route as a defacto detour around the construction on the Lloyd.
